Leadership Development

Del's Leadership Development programs are based on his lifetime experience as a volunteer leader.  These programs are not just theory, but practical presentations on growing into the best leader possible.  These programs deal with two primary areas:  Personal Leadership, which is how to be a more effective leader; and Organizational Leadership, which covers the challenges of governing an organization. 

Student Activities Training

Del has performed over 750 musical programs on colleges and universities across the USA.  As a lifelong learner, he noted why some schools were successful with their programming while others failed.  He originally created training programs to present at NACA and APCA conferences to teach students to do a better job; however, schools began to bring him back to campus to teach the entire board.  You can pick and choose between a vast array of topics to meet the needs of your program board.  Perfect for a retreat or workshop.

Higher Ed Staff Development

If your office needs some professional development, please consider these programs.  Del presents excellent training in Student Affairs, including the latest on "Learning Reconsidered", developing student learning outcomes, and assessment.  If you are facing reaccreditation, this training is a must.

Res Life Programs

While many of Del's leadership development presentations are also applicable to Residence Life, Del has some programs that are specifically useful for RAs and Hall Directors.  These include an introduction to Student Development Theory, low-cost programming ideas, and more.

Corporate Programs

Del has a number of terrifc programs for both corporate clients and the public sector.  He has a number of excellent presentations that teach time management, motivating your staff, and delegation.

Government/Public Sector Staff Programs

Del presents a number of excellent staff development programs for government and public sector personnel. Whether you are considering a full-day or half-day In-service Training, a retreat, or a single one- or two-hour session, Del will improve your staff performance.  His programs are generally accepted for Continuing Education Credits by most professional organizations.
